A little about myself:
I live in a small town at the foothills of the beautiful Watagan mountains, Lake Macquarie,New South Wales, Australia.
I have been burning now for about two years in between my other hobby of lead lighting.I have always loved to sketch & have dabbled in many art mediums over the years, from oil painting to jewellery making, quilting and many other crafts.
I find that there is something relaxing but exciting about wood burning & so have created this website as a showcase for my work.

What is pyrography I hear you say?
Pyrography, sometimes called poker work or wood burning, is the art of burning a design using a hot iron &/or a fine wire tip.
It is usually performed on wood, paper,leather & gourds.
I do burnings of portraits, pets, scenes etc on plaques, boxes,frames, all light coloured types of timber, furniture, paper, leather & gourds.

I do commission work from photos at reasonable prices.
